Hey Kari, recently we read the success story of your kiteloop performance at the
last World Tour - we ask ourselves if you do these kiteloops on frozen
waters as well?

Yes I do kiteloops on snow but not on ice. But if there is good snow then its like water soft and good to land.

Can you remember your first Kiteloop and advise some thoughts for the rest of the looping girls in the world.

My first kiteloop I think was on the water just when I was riding; I looped the kite and got a small jump. Then I started with a jump. You will see that it’s not scary. Start when the wind is low and then it’s not that spooky , after a while then you see that its ok to loop the kite. Start with not to much power

Where is your favorite snowkite spot to meet you and take stunning views of Norways kitequeen?

My favourite spot is Haugastøl for snowkiting, its good to snowkite and there is always nice people to kite with. But in the summer you will find me in Stavanger. There we have the best place to kite. Sand and good waves and wind a bit cold but that’s ok for a Viking.

The best place is Haugastøl. There you have a hotel with food and all the service you want and a big plateau to kite on 10 min drive from the hotel. You can travel to Oslo or Bergen and rent a car or take the train to Haugstøl.
